I have been employeed with Catholic Community Services of Utah over 11 Years and have had a wonderful opportunity to be a Presidents Ambassador.  I am a native of Salt Lake City and have spent most of my adult life in the non-profit world working with volunteers and building partnerships with local businesses, civic groups, government groups and interfaith communities. Spent 30 years as a military wife which gave me many opportunities to work and volunteer in the military community stateside and abroad.

Both companies provide Full Service Event & wedding design, planning, coordination, management,  bar service, floral service and equipment rental. They have won many awards for their work and service. Janice has a passion for women and small business and helping her community to remain vibrant and successful at large. She loves The Salt Lake Chamber and the WBC and feels they are both vital resources available to business across the state. Janice is also excited to assist the board in taking the WBC to the next level!
Joe Costanzo

Joe Costanzo is the Director of Sales for Topgolf in Salt Lake City. Topgolf is a global sports entertainment community creating the best times of your life. Only closed two days each year (Christmas and Thanksgiving), Joe oversees a team of eight who are responsible for getting the party started for groups 12 to 1,200.

His passions include working in sports and entertainment, where he brings over seven years of experience from the Utah Jazz and where he became the sales rep formally known as "Joe Jazz.” 

Joe was born into a big Italian family in Cleveland, OH and his Mom is known for cooking meatball subs for his colleagues. The biggest reasons he loves Utah is as follows: It is one of the few places you can ski, hike, bike, boat, and golf all in the same day, also known as the MOST EPIC DAY OF THE YEAR and usually held in April.

John has been in sales and sales management roles for the last 30 years.  He was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and stayed there unitl 2004 when he moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.  He moved to SLC in 2008 to take the VP of Sales position at IKON Office Solutions, later to become Ricoh after they were acquired in 2009.  He is a graduate of the 2009 Leadership Utah program at the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.  John recently took a new position with Heartland Payment Systems as the Division Manager for Utah and Idaho. John manages the team of sales reps and managers for the Payment Processing Division with Heartland.  He is married to Dawn, also from Las Vegas and recently celebrated their 22nd year wedding anniversary.  He enjoys travel, skiing, mountain biking, golf and hiking.

Shawn Newell is responsible for the development of new business opportunities for Industrial Supply Company. He is also charged with new product selection and the process of driving new products through the sales team and sales processes. Shawn earned a bachelor's in Sociology from the University of Utah. He also acquired a degree in Marketing Management followed by a Masters in Management. Shawn has continued his education by gaining numerous manufacturer certifications. In shawn's free time he is a sports official. He is the Vice President of the Salt Lake branch of the NAACP. Through an appointment, Shawn currently serves as a member of the Govenor's Human Rights Commission. Shawn serves on the board of trustees for EDCUtah and is active with the UMA. He continues to work to improve both the business and civil communities.

I have been involved with the Chamber for 20 years and have been a Chamber Ambassador for 14 of those years. Working with Office Depot in this area from it's conception 22 years ago has been a rewarding and challenging passion of mine. I love being involved and meeting new people everyday in my line of work. The Chamber affords the opportunity to network all around the valley and see different businesses launch and grow here in Utah. I am a graduate of Santa Barbara City College and UCSB with degrees in Business Administration / Economics yet there is no better training than being involved with company CEO's, CFO's and COO's to learn how business runs in the real world. The Chamber also allows me the opportunity to be involved in many charitable events / organizations and makes it easy to lend that helping hand when time allows.  Over the years Office Depot has worked closely with the SL Chamber to develop a National Chamber discount program- see link.

Lisa Ostrander serves as the programs and events coordinator and as a member of the business development team for the Salt Lake Chamber. She graduated from Winona State University in 2011 with a bachelors degree in mass communications: public relations. Her work background includes marketing, creative design, website and social media maintenance, client relations, event planning, radio and copywriting. A Minneapolis native with a passion for traveling, Lisa moved to Utah in 2012 to pursue her love of the outdoors and to join Utah’s ever-growing business scene. Her outdoor interests include hiking, backpacking, camping, fishing, rock-climbing, disc golf and hanging out with friends at the lake. She also enjoys basketball, photography, film, movies, concerts and creating super tasty culinary classics for all to enjoy!
