In 1991\, he became president of the New York Knicks basketball team and in 1994\, became CEO of Madison Square Garden Corporation. In 2012\, he was named chairman and CEO of Legends Hospitality Management. He then served as Mission President of the England\n\nLondon Mission from 2018-2021. He and his wife Deb\, have six children.\n\n\n\nDave Checketts was born in Bountiful\, Utah. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah\, and MBA degree from Brigham Young University. At age 28\, he became president and general manager of the Utah Jazz\, making him the youngest chief executive in NBA history. In 1991\, he became president of the New York Knicks basketball team and in 1994\, became president and CEO of Madison Square Garden Corporation. He oversaw all operations of one of the most powerful sports and entertainment companies globally\, including the "World's Most Famous Arena" and its three sports franchises. Under his leadership\, Madison Square Garden was awarded with many accomplishments\, such as being named Arena of the Year for six straight years. In 2012\, he was named chairman and chief executive officer of Legends Hospitality Management. He served as President of the England London Mission from 2018 to 2021. He and his wife\, Deb\, have six children.
