SUMMARY:EBTR Webinar Series: Choosing A Clean Vehicle Fleet
DESCRIPTION:The Employer-Based Trip Reduction (EBTR) Webinar Series will provide employers with an opportunity to learn about vehicle emission reduction tools and strategies other Utah companies are using to reduce their contribution to poor air quality\, provide benefits to employees\, and reduce costs associated with transportation. It is the goal of this series to help companies identify vehicle emission reduction strategies that work for them as they develop their own unique EBTR programs. To kick off the series on January 11th of this year\, the Division of Air Quality (DAQ) hosted an EBTR Symposium where several employers shared some of the strategies they have used to reduce vehicle emissions\, and the Utah Department of Transportation discussed strategies and tools they have developed to assist companies in this effort. All future meetings in the series will be held exclusively through webinars and will focus on specific topics suggested by series participants. The next webinar will present information on Choosing Clean Vehicles. Employers will learn how to choose the cleanest vehicles\, other tips on helping reduce emissions by right sizing the fleet and other ways employers can look at have a clean vehicle fleet.
