He is a proven leader in both public service and business. After four years on the city council\, Staggs served as the mayor of Riverton\, Utah. He has taken a business-minded approach to municipal government\, which has delivered exceptional results that include cutting property taxes\, reducing fees and saving residents tens of millions of dollars. He was also a candidate for U.S. Senate in 2024. \n\n \n\nBeyond his public sector experience\, Staggs has demonstrated executive leadership necessary to successfully manage organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small- and medium-sized enterprises\, across the finance\, technology and energy sectors. He recently served on the board of an energy company he helped take public\, securing the company with a listing on NASDAQ in 2022.
