DESCRIPTION:Please join Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy for our season's final Ambassador Jon Price & Marcia Price World Affairs Lecture where we are excited to welcome guest lecturer Kathy Laurini\, Senior Advisor for Exploration and Space Operations with NASA. \n\n \nThe reception & lecture are free & open to the public.\n\n \n\nThe International Space Station is the centerpiece of human space exploration and space diplomacy. It has enabled more than 2\,400 researchers from 83 countries to conduct investigations and experiments. Space agencies operating the International Space Station are actively planning to extend human presence further into space - to the vicinity of the Moon\, the lunar surface\, asteroids\, and Mars. Ms. Laurini will describe how working together through diplomatic processes and investing in the technologies and capabilities to meet the challenges of operating the space station enables the future of human space exploration and will only continue to benefit us here on Earth.\n\n \n\nI hope you\, your colleagues\, students\, co-workers\, family\, friends\, and social circles will join us for this exciting lecture on space diplomacy.
