DESCRIPTION:Do you have a great business idea\, but does the prospect of presenting your business concept to a banker or potential client scare you?\n\n \n\nThe Women's Business Center of Utah is hosting their annual Pitch Perfect:Master Your 2-Minute Funding Pitch event! \n\n \n\nWe are giving business owners the opportunity to practice pitching their business plan and receive valuable feedback without the pressure. Pitching practice will take place in a group setting where each person will get to practice their pitch\, stress free. This is a great opportunity to gain visibility in front of business pros\, lendors and major bank representatives who will coach you through the essentials of a perfect pitch. This can be your chance to hear directly from these professionals on what they are looking for. \n \n\nDon't worry about presenting or having to stand in front of a crowd\, the choice to do so is entirely up to you! \n\n \n\nThis event will be a fun and educational way to network\, gain valuable tips and feedback on how to best secure financing.\n\n \n\nFree food and drinks will be provided!\n\nTake your business from fun money to startup funding!\n\n Agenda \n\n\n 9:00am-9:15am Welcome\, Introductions of Pros & Explanation of Agenda \n 9:15am-10:30am Practice Clinic\, receive feedback from Lendor and Business Pros \n 10:30am-10:45am Break and Snacks \n 10:45am-11:15am 3 Volunteers Pitch for the class for Presto Print gift certificates \n 11:15am-11:25am Voting with WBCUtah Coins \n 11:25am-11:35am Break \n 11:40am-11:45am Winner Announcement \n 11:45am-12:00pm Final Remarks and Networking \n\n\n \n\nParking Instructions:\n\nIf you are driving\, please park in the west side of the parking lot at the Chamber building. When you arrive\, proceed to the left/west (monthly and validated parking) area and take a ticket and pass through the yellow parking gate. We'll provide validations upstairs at the front desk. \n \n\nPlease do not enter on the right/east side and park in the two rows closest to the building or you will have to pay in advance and we will not be able to validate your parking. \n \n\nPlease note that we are not able to guarantee parking for everyone in our lot.\n \n\nWe encourage you to take Traxs and help keep our air clean. Please use the Library Square stop on the red line to arrive at the Salt Lake Chamber offices.
