This course will examine the differences between these two concepts\, and identify philosophies and actions required to create and sustain high-performing teams. Participants will do a baseline assessment of their current team's competency in specific team-success areas and develop an action plan to increase the team's effectiveness and potential. Some of the objective covered in this course will include How to identify the difference between a group and a team and how an organization gets what it asks for\, not necessarily what it wants. The characteristics of high-performing teams and ways the organization's structure\, processes and culture undermine team effectiveness will also be discussed.
