About the Presenters:
Kathy Farrow VP of HR at Megaplex
Michelle Beasley, SPHR - SCP
Michelle Beasley currently works in Special Projects related to stewardship with the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies. She has 15 years of HR experience spent in the computer science, medical and general aviation industries, as well as retail, entertainment, auto and sports industries within the Larry H. Miller Group. She has her BS in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and her MS in Human Resource Management from Capella University. She and her family live in Sandy.
Stacy Orchard
Stacy Orchard was born in Tuscaloosa Alabama. Although she has lived in Utah for 18 years, she is still a fiercely loyal Alabama football fan – Roll Tide! While she is not at work at Mountain America Credit Union crunching numbers, she runs a very successful taxi cab service for her beautiful 15-year-old daughter and a handsome 12-year-old son with their cheerleading, softball, violin, football, basketball, baseball, and scouting activities. Since her MS diagnosis over a decade ago, Stacy has decided to live more purposefully as she participates in half marathons, triathlons, and volunteers her time to various non-profits, including the National MS society. Her motto is Laugh often, Love Deeply and Give Freely
Sonya Droguett
Sonya Droguett is a forthright and results-driven executive with documented record of success in both sales and marketing. Commended for attaining market share growth, exceptional client relationships, strong strategic marketing plan development, new product development and commercialization in the pharmaceutical and diagnostic testing field over the last 19 years. Sonya is an invited guest lecturer for the first year medical school students and the introductory laboratory course at the University of Utah. She speaks on the diagnostic challenges of lupus and connecting the patient experience to health care professions.
She was diagnosed with systemic lupus after her son was born in 2005. She was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2015. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, taking long naps with her puppy and spending time with friends and family.
Kelly Miller
Kelly is a 2 time cancer survivor. Her first diagnosis was at age 13 (osteogenic sarcoma). She had metastatic lung cancer 14 months later. She was fortunate to be the first kid to survive an experimental chemotherapy protocol.
For the past 16 years Kelly has been a volunteer for the American Cancer Society and most recently she was the Area Team Lead for Utah & Western Wyoming. Kelly is a 2016 Hero of Hope and the 2016 Harmon J. Eyre award recipient. She has an associate degree from UVU and a double bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, and has worked as a financial advisor for 22 years. She is currently employed at Ameriprise financial.
Parking Instructions:
If you are driving, please park in the west side of the parking lot at the Chamber building. When you arrive, proceed to the left/west (monthly and validated parking) area and take a ticket and pass through the yellow parking gate. We’ll provide validations upstairs at the front desk. Please do not enter on the right/east side and park in the two rows closest to the building or you will have to pay in advance and we will not be able to validate your parking.
