Alert for the upcoming 1st annual COMBAT GALA

COMMUNITY, BUSINESS LEADERS AND CITIZENS, STATE OF UTAH
You are hereby ordered to the Energy Solutions Arena

Date: 6 September 2012, Thursday
Report To: Energy Solutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah
Time: 1800-2100 Hrs. (6:00-900 p.m.)
Purpose: To experience an evening in the military at the Forward Operating Base on the arena floor, and become a member of the Guard family.

Additional Instructions:
a. Duty Uniform: civilian casual attire or your best urban combat gear.
b. Mess Hall will be serving hors d’oeuvres.
c. Cash bar will be available.
d. Fill your packs with amazing items won in the Silent Auction.
e. Meet U.S. Army Soldier of the Year, Staff Sergeant Guy Mellor.
f. Music provided by the 23rd Army Band.
g. View an incredible display of weapons and equipment used by our Guard members.
h. Meet members of the 19th Special Forces and view the latest Special Operations gear.
i. Gain unique insight into past and ongoing combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan by select members of the Utah Army and Air National Guard.
