Utah Safety Council: Workplace Violence Planning & Management Course

OSHA states that nearly 2 million workers report being victims of workplace violence each year, and recent events have shown us that no business is exempt from the risk. Our Workplace Violence Planning & Management course is designed to assist businesses in understanding the need for workplace violence prevention, and give resources to help with the development of a workplace policy. The class will cover predator recognition and observation techniques, staff preparedness suggestions, high-risk employment considerations, identification of potentially dangerous employees, and the importance of developing an Emergency Response Plan. This course has been reviewed and approved by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
