About the Presenter:Ryan Evans
President, Utah Solar Energy Association
Ryan Evans joined the Utah Solar Energy Association (USEA) in July of 2016 and serves as its president. In his role, Ryan provides leadership, direction and management for all aspects of USEA activities and is responsible for seeing that the strategic initiatives and policies of the Board of Directors are effectively implemented. Specifically, Ryan leads USEA’s strategic planning, internal and external relations, advocacy & public policy, and business development. Ryan also serves as a spokesperson for the solar industry.
Prior to joining USEA, Ryan spent thirteen years as an executive with the Salt Lake Chamber, Utah’s largest business association. At the Chamber, Ryan was responsible for community development initiatives, building collaborative relationships with other business associations, and had oversight for several of the Chamber’s affiliate organizations. Ryan also led economic development and public policy initiatives focused on small business and air quality for the chamber.
Ryan attended the University of Vermont and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Utah.
Additionally, Ryan is a Strategic Advisor for Opus Strategy Group and was formerly the co-owner of the Firehouse BBQ Grill and Wasatch Smokin’ Company.
Parking Instructions:
If you are driving, park in the west side of the parking lot on the corner with 400 South and State Street. When you arrive, proceed to the left/west (monthly and validated parking) area and take a ticket and pass through the yellow parking gate. We will provide validations upstairs at the front desk.
Please do not enter on the right/east side and park in the two rows closest to the building or you will have to pay in advance and we will not be able to validate your parking.
Please note that we are not able to guarantee parking for everyone in our lot.
We encourage you to take Traxs and help keep our air clean. Please use the Library Square stop on the red line to arrive at the Salt Lake Chamber offices.
