Please help us celebrate the first day of spring by joining us for our Business Women's Forum Luncheon on March 20. Pamela Okumura, the Executive Director of People Helping People, will lead round table discussions on how women can support each other in the workplace.

About the Presenter:
Pamela Okumura, Executive Director, People Helping People
Pamela's for profit business background includes sales, marketing and business development. She has worked for both small and large organizations where she developed processes and tools to help maximize performance and productivity. She gained nonprofit experience as the Director of the Salt Lake Chamber Women's Business Center, where she managed and oversaw day-to-day operations, recruited and trained staff, developed and managed program offerings and one-on-one consulting, secured and managed federal and community grants, created and marketed fundraising events, recruit and managed an Advisory Board and developed marketing and social media tools to increase community awareness.  

In honor of the first day of spring, we will be selling daffodils to raise money for People Helping People.If you would like to brighten a desk or home by pre-ordering a bunch of daffodils, please CLICK HERE. We will also be taking cash or credit cards at the door. 

Non-profit Spotlight:
People Helping People is dedicated to reducing the number of children living in poverty by teaching low-income women, primarily single mothers, how to earn an adequate income through stable employment that pays a living wage.  Each single mother that transitions from welfare to self-sufficiency saves our community up to $20,000 annually.

There is a pay lot at the venue. There is also street parking out front or parking at the America Towers underground lot, which is also a pay lot. To get into that there is an entrance either on Broadway (300s) right in the middle of West Temple and Main Street, or there is an entrance to it on West Temple and in between 300 south and 200 south, just north of the Hilton.
