Business Women's Forum 2018: 04/24 Spring Mixer

Please join us for a lively evening at Squatters Pub Brewery, our location sponsor, on April 24 from 5PM-7PM. There will be networking, light appetizers, drinks, and giveaways from our sponsors. The first 100 guests to arrive will receive a swag bag full of goodies from our sponsors! We will also be collecting mini mother's day gifts for Junior League. Please bring a small Mother's Day gift such as nail polish, lotion, bubble bath, manicure kits, body scrub, facial moisturizer, fuzzy socks, face masks, or chocolate for us to give as a group to Junior League of Salt Lake City. Junior League will be using these gifts to make Mother's Day baskets for mothers staying in the YWCA.  Bring a friend and come have some fun at our Spring Mixer!

Location Sponsor:

Although much has changed since the first Squatters beer was poured in 1989, we remain firmly dedicated to our original goal of providing our customers world-class handcrafted beer and food in a warm, friendly environment. As we have grown, we have continued to embrace our Triple Bottom Line philosophy of People Planet Profit, where supporting a healthy community is a priority. Some of the organizations with whom we partner include:
The Downtown Alliance, Utahns Against Hunger, Equality Utah, Alliance House, and Green Bike SLC.

We procure healthy ingredients and use environmentally friendly products and services from within our local eco-region and develop long-lasting relationships with farmers, growers and suppliers so that we know exactly what is and is not in the products that we buy. We purchase Blue Sky Wind Power and are continuously working to reduce our carbon footprint by procuring products produced from post-consumer recycled materials and purchasing goods that are environmentally friendly, sending less waste to our landfills. These efforts have resulted in Squatters being recognized locally and state-wide for its efforts.

Non-profit:

The Junior League is a charitable, not-for-profit organization of women who make sustainable improvements in their communities as a result of the civic leadership training and expertise they obtain through their experience in the League.Today, The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. is comprised of more than 150,000 women in 292 Junior Leagues throughout Canada, Mexico, the U.K. and the U.S. Collectively, we constitute one of the most powerful volunteer organizations in the world.

The Junior League of Salt Lake City is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI) and has been serving the Salt Lake community since 1931. It began as the Salt Lake Junior Aid and was accepted into membership of the Association of Junior Leagues in 1934 after a probationary period of training and education. Since that time, an ever-changing program of volunteer activity, financial support, and service has been tailored to the growing Salt Lake community. During its first sixty years of community service, the League’s involvement was primarily in the arts, social welfare, child welfare, criminal justice system education. Since 1990, the League has turned its attention to the critical issues facing the environment, women and substance abuse, mentally ill adults, and health care issues.
