Leading Lean Organizations
Course Objectives:
-Learn how to help team members identify non-value added and unnecessary activities in an organization
-Discover the evidence-based factors contributing to an issue
-Empower employees to be creative in thinking of solutions to a specific problem
-Learn techniques to encourage communication and collaboration among employees towards an improvement culture
-Ensure that proposed solutions will address the underlying issues of a problem (not the symptoms of the problem)
-Develop employee confidences to use lean skills in addressing process issues without direct supervision (continuous lean improvement culture)
-Learn how to quickly launch and lead a Kaizen event program for employees
-Review five coaching techniques to encourage employee commitment and follow-through when addressing lean organization issues
Course Description:
Leading lean organizations is the process of increasing product value and decreasing waste. Lean principles are easier to implement when all members of an organization understand and feel involved in the process. This course teaches leaders how to help their team members identify an issue, empower them to find solutions, and continually make effective improvements.
