U of U Professional Education: Diversity and Inclusion as a Business Imperative Approved for SHRM PDUs!
The concepts of diversity and inclusivity are often bantered about in today’s climate, often in a disparaging manner. This class is based on the premise that to appreciate the value of diversity is critical to accessing innovative ideas, creativity and opportunities. The cultural climate of inclusivity is not only valuable for employees but is attractive to organizations seeking to broaden their client base. We will utilize organizational assessments and talking points to examine organizational climate and pinpoint areas that may require future educational opportunities.
