Why Men Should Care About Strengthening Women
Utah Women & Leadership Project - Dr. Susan Madsen
The research is clear that it is important for girls and women (as well as boys and men) to become educated and to develop voice and confidence. In addition, society needs more women to influence and lead. Studies also show that men must be involved and engaged in supporting the development of women to truly strengthen our homes, communities, schools and institutions, businesses, and state. Dr. Susan R. Madsen, founder of the Utah Women & Leadership Project, will moderate a lively and engaging panel of community leaders on this topic. Come and learn why men should care about strengthening women and what men can do to further support, inspire, and motivate girls and women. Men and women (12 years and older) are welcome to attend. We kindly ask each woman who RSVPs to also invite and register a man (such as a spouse, coworker, boss, partner, son, grandson, etc.). Come listen, learn, laugh, eat, and dialogue!
