The Roxbury Institute, through its, Advanced Lipedema Treatment (ALT) Program, is a global leader in lipedema treatment and is dedicated to improving the lives of patients with lipedema through innovative surgical techniques and comprehensive care. We are excited to announce a unique fellowship opportunity for a dedicated dermatologic surgeon to join our team.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for a 6-12 month fellowship in lipedema surgery, training under Dr. David Amron, a pioneer in lipedema surgery in the United States. This full-time position is designed for individuals who have completed their dermatologic surgery or dermatology residency and have a keen interest in tumescent liposuction and the treatment of lipedema.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in hands-on surgical training in tumescent liposuction and lipedema surgeries under the mentorship of Dr. Amron.
  • Engage in clinical research focused on advancing the understanding and treatment of lipedema.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Assist in the development of treatment protocols and patient education materials.
  • Attend and contribute to weekly case reviews, conferences, and workshops.

Qualifications:

  • Completed dermatologic surgery fellowship or dermatology residency program.
  • Strong interest in lipedema and tumescent liposuction techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to research and continuous learning.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
