Description: Hosted annually by Salt Lake County Watershed Planning & Restoration, this free, two-day conference encourages a comprehensive review of the current state of our watershed, while creating valuable learning and networking opportunities.
This year's program is full of unique learning opportunities for all stakeholders, including: federal, state, tribal and municipal governments; private sector; academia; environmental groups; local watershed organizations; and the public.
Keynote speaker Taryn Finnessey will share her knowledge on how Colorado has been proactive about drought and water planning. Also being addressed in her presentation is how drought and water stress is the new normal.
Lunch and snack breaks are served.
