The Salt Lake Chamber is now accepting presentation proposals for the 50th Anniversary Women & Business Conference and ATHENA Awards Luncheon in Fall 2026—a milestone year celebrating five decades of empowering women in business.
This event brings together dynamic, inspiring voices and celebrates individuals who are making a meaningful impact in our business community. We are seeking engaging speakers who can deliver practical insights, fresh perspectives, and actionable takeaways for attendees.
To inspire and connect businesswomen with the tools, resources, and relationships needed to support both personal and professional growth.
As we celebrate 50 years of impact, the 2026 conference will center on women’s empowerment and elevating women in the Salt Lake business community, including entrepreneurs, leaders, and working professionals.

Please include the following in your submission:
Presentation title
Session description
Speaker(s), panelists, and/or moderator bios (limited to 250 words)
Relevance to advancing and supporting businesswomen
Clear, actionable takeaways for attendees
Contact information (name, title, organization, phone number, email)
Headshot (required; email to Kat Kaddas — proposals without a headshot will not be considered)
High-resolution image (300 DPI preferred; larger files such as 1200 x 1800 pixels work best)
Head-and-shoulders photo with space above the head and around the shoulders
(please avoid tightly cropped images where the face fills the frame)
File format: JPEG or PNG
Submit the original image file (no screenshots, compressed images, or photos embedded in documents)
We welcome a wide range of ideas. Example topics include:
Authentic leadership
Managing and leading teams
The power of community and networking
Intergenerational collaboration
Negotiation skills
Giving and receiving feedback
Knowing your worth and advocating for yourself

Length: Approximately 35 minutes
Format Options: Single presenter, panel discussion, fireside chat, or interactive session
All proposals will be reviewed based on relevance, quality, and audience value.
Priority consideration will be given to Salt Lake Chamber members.
