Salt Lake Chamber

Self-reliance is an incredibly important skill to have in the workplace and in life. Without it, we go about our lives without trusting ourselves, which hurts our confidence and abilities. For some women, though, learning self-sufficiency is a matter of survival. There are women who have been forcibly displaced from their homes and communities, leaving them unsure of their futures and families. In this session, Samira Harnish will describe her journey as she created Women of the World, a program that empowers displaced women by creating a community where they learn English, start careers, and become self-sufficient. Please join us in person
on July 20 at Hilton Garden Inn. We will be practicing various social distancing options and following all CDC guidelines.
