Especially in a busy and daunting workplace, it can be intimidating to put yourself out there, meet people, and show others your skills and value. However, networking and connecting with others are essential skills that every businesswoman and businessman should master. At this luncheon, Carly and Diana from PrincePerelson will advise on how to present yourself as a success story and put your best self forward through social media platforms. You will also learn skills on how to apply networking in your day-to-day life and continue to strengthen those relationships going forward.

To exchange business cards, each attendee is required to learn something about the person they're talking to. The person with the most business cards at the end of the activity wins a prize! So don't forget to bring your business cards!

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Carly Hazen, Managing Director, PrincePerelson
Executive Search, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Legal
recruitment disciplines. She joined PrincePerelson in 2003 and works with
both privately-held and public companies in the areas of financial
services, banking, venture capital, mining/ drilling, manufacturing,
non-profit, healthcare, and medical device. Carly also partners with top
law firms and diverse in-house legal groups to identify and deliver high
caliber talent. She received an MBA from Utah State University and a BS
Degree from the University of Utah in Communication/PR and Marketing.
Carly has appeared on air and written numerous articles for KSL news
outlets. Topics have ranged from the local job market, creating a
customized career, interviewing strategies, marketing tactics, and many
other topics. She is a frequent guest on KSL News Radio Programs and
serves as a career contributor on KSL Studio 5. Carly has presented information on a wide range of topics for the University of Utah, Westminster College, BYU and Dixie State College. She has also presented before the UACPA, the UTC, the EDCU, and various local and national HR conferences.

NON-PROFIT SPOTLIGHT:

The mission of Neighborhood House is to enrich, empower and educate children and adults through quality, affordable day care and support services. We offer nationally accredited toddler, preschool, afterschool, and summer programs for children age 15 months to 12 years old. On the other end of the spectrum, we provide day care and support services for adults who need supervised care during the day, allowing more adults in our community to age in place. Neighborhood House’s services are provided on a sliding fee scale, ensuring they’re available to the families who need them most. Since 1894, we’ve been committed to helping hard-working, low-income families maintain stable employment and achieve self-sufficiency by having access to quality, affordable care for their loved ones.
