ABOUT THE PRESENTERS:
Carly Hazen, Managing Director, PrincePerelson
Carly Hazen is the Managing Director for PrincePerelson specializing in
Executive Search, Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Legal
recruitment disciplines. She joined PrincePerelson in 2003 and works with
both privately-held and public companies in the areas of financial
services, banking, venture capital, mining/ drilling, manufacturing,
non-profit, healthcare, and medical device. Carly also partners with top
law firms and diverse in-house legal groups to identify and deliver high
caliber talent. She received an MBA from Utah State University and a BS
Degree from the University of Utah in Communication/PR and Marketing.
Carly has appeared on air and written numerous articles for KSL news
outlets. Topics have ranged from the local job market, creating a
customized career, interviewing strategies, marketing tactics, and many
other topics. She is a frequent guest on KSL News Radio Programs and
serves as a career contributor on KSL Studio 5. Carly has presented information on a wide range of topics for the University of Utah, Westminster College, BYU and Dixie State College. She has also presented before the UACPA, the UTC, the EDCU, and various local and national HR conferences.
Diana Young, Division Vice President, PrincePerelson
Diana Young brings years of Human Resource and Administrative experience to PrincePerelson. Since joining the Company more than 25 years ago, Diana has worked both as Manager of the Perelson Temporary Division, Division Vice President, and Director of Business Development. Diana has always capitalized on two of her greatest strengths which are an insurmountable network and continuing association memberships that have aided in the development of new business throughout all circles of industry in the Salt Lake Valley. Some of the more notable associations that Diana belongs to are the Business Women’s Forum Committee (past Chairperson), Salt Lake Chamber’s President’s Ambassadors (past Chair), and EDCU (current member). She has also served on other surrounding community Chambers; the American Heart Association’s Go Red Committee and she continuously volunteers for other networking organizations as well as local charities. Diana has also been recognized for her outstanding service to the Salt Lake Chamber organization as a recipient of the “Chamber Champion Award” in 2007. With her outgoing nature and fearless representation of PrincePerelson, Diana creates strong business relationships alongside long-term friendships which strengthen the loyalty and dedication she receives from her clients and candidates. Diana has been instrumental in bringing in and managing key clients/accounts over the years, in addition to building the Temporary Division to record earnings.
