Business Women's Forum 2022: You’d Be Prettier if You Smiled and Other Lies Women Learn about Positivity 2.0

Registration is now closed. Please email Kat Kaddas at kkaddas@slchamber.com to be added to the waitlist.

In response to the extraordinary challenges of the past two years, well-intentioned individuals and organizations have responded with an unyielding commitment to the power of positivity - sometimes to the point of toxicity. This session teaches some basics of positive psychology. What is it? What is it not? And does it apply on the days when we just don't feel like smiling?

Elizabeth McMillan presented on this topic at the Salt Lake Chamber and Women's Business Center of Utah's Women & Business Conference and ATHENA Awards Luncheon, where she was so well-received that we invited her to speak for us, too. This time, McMillan will take the conversation deeper in a round-table style discussion, where attendees can learn more about positivity in the workplace, being a woman in a business setting, and how we can speak up for ourselves during these important conversations.

COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY GUIDELINES:
Attendees are asked to follow local health department guidelines and levels of restrictions, which include but are not limited to:
