Business Women's Forum 2025: Composed & Confident – Emotional Intelligence Under Pressure

Megan Call is a licensed counseling psychologist, Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, and Associate Chief Wellness Officer at University of Utah Health. She has research and clinical interests in promoting resilience and well-being among health professionals, with a specific focus on embracing vulnerability and discomfort, incorporating informal mindfulness into every practice, improving communication and relationship skills among teams, and addressing systematic change. 


NON-PROFIT SPOTLIGHT:  
The Other Side Village is a master-planned, therapeutic community located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Nestled in a tranquil setting, the Village provides high-quality, permanent homes and a supportive environment for individuals transitioning out of chronic homelessness. This unique neighborhood combines affordable housing with a vibrant, peer-led culture that fosters healing, personal growth, and connection. 

Guided by principles of dignity, accountability, and empowerment, The Other Side Village offers more than a place to live; it creates a space to thrive. Here, residents become active participants in their own transformation, surrounded by a supportive network that prioritizes mental health, personal development, and community engagement.
