PURPOSE:
Recognize C.R. England and England Logistics employees for their efforts in reaching the million meals goal three months early.
Provide 100 hours of service to Utah Food Bank. Volunteers will be helping with packing food boxes, making bean soup bags, and sorting donation barrels.
Step to a Million 5K! We’re taking one million steps against childhood hunger. It takes a minimum of 167 people to walk 6,000 steps to reach one million. More than 180 C.R. England and England Logistics employees are registered to run or walk the course that travels along the Jordan River Parkway in South Salt Lake from Utah Food Bank and back.

SCHEDULE:
Only open to employees and staff of C.R. England and England Logistics, this event will include a 5K race, carnival games for families and various service opportunities at the food bank. Expected attendance is around 500. Corresponding events and service projects are happening during October in many other company locations to commemorate this milestone.
