Cause For Alarms

Help us install 1000 smoke alarms in Ogden, Utah in one day. Seven times a day, someone in the United States dies in a home fire. Having a working smoke alarm reduces the risk of death from a home fire by 50%. We’re joining with the Ogden Fire Department and community groups to canvass neighborhoods, install FREE smoke alarms and provide home fire safety education. All volunteers will receive an event t-shirt. Join us after the event for a celebration with food and prizes. Volunteers Will: Go door-to-door in teams of 3 installing FREE smoke alarms and educating residents about home fire safety. No experience required. Training and equipment will be provided the day of the event.
