Choral Arts Society of Utah's 2012 Fall Concert; Felix Mendelssohn's Psalm 42

The Choral Arts Society of Utah, Sterling Poulson, Music Director, is partnering with the University of Utah's College of Fine Arts Choral Studies, under the direction of Barlow Bradford, the Ellen Neilson Barnes Presidential Endowed Chair for Choral Studies, giving graduate students the opportunity to work with our 110-voice choir in preparation and presentation of required choral recitals. This year's Fall Concert features a recital prepared by graduate student Sonja Sperling, currently working on her Doctor of Musical Arts degree. The concert, featuring a performance of Felix Mendelssohn's Psalm 42, will be at the First Presbyterian Church of Salt lake, 12 C Street, October 13, 2012, 7:30 p.m. --tickets are $10 at the door.
