This 5-day course prepares students to take the CISSP certification examination (not included). The course covers the 10 domains required for the CISSP certificate including 1.) access control; 2.) telecommunications and network security; 3.) information security governance and risk management; 4.) software development security; 5.) cryptography; 6.) security architecture and design; 7.) operations security; 8.) business continuity and disaster recovery planning; 9.) legal, regulations, investigations and compliance; and 10.) physical security. Tuition includes course materials. Certification requires at least five years experience in information security. Alternately, candidates can earn an (ISC)2 Associate Certificate pending completion of experience requirement. CISSP certification is useful in careers such as network security professional, information assurance technician, security consultant, and computer network manager.
