Day of Caring 2012

Celebrate 20 years of Volunteerism with United Way of Salt Lake! United Way of Salt Lake Day of Caring engages more than 3,300 volunteers completing more than 145 one-day service projects in Davis, Salt Lake, Summit, and Tooele counties. Volunteers reach thousands of our most vulnerable citizens and build a stronger community for us all. Day of Caring begins at a kick-off breakfast at The Gateway with live entertainment for all sponsors and volunteer participants from 7:30-9:00 a.m. This annual event continues to generate a high level of participation and media exposure. Local television and radio stations cover the morning event and several service projects throughout the day.
