Improving Employee Health Through Diabetes Prevention: A Lifestyle Change Program That Works
Date: Wednesday, October 28th, 2020
Time: 11am-1pm
1 in 3 adults have prediabetes, which puts them at a greater risk for developing type 2 diabetes. As I'm sure you're aware, type 2 diabetes is costly for both the employees and employers. However, it can often be prevented! The National Diabetes Prevention Program is an evidence-based, CDC-recognized program that can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes by 58%. It is currently being offered throughout Utah.
We know your organization has been working hard improving employee health and well-being. This virtual summit will provide an opportunity to learn about the importance of type 2 diabetes prevention and engage with other employers interested in improving worksites wellness. We hope your HR, benefits, and/or wellness staff can attend!
