Topics include internetworking; internet protocols; IP subnetting; troubleshooting IP; introduction to Cisco IOS; managing a Cisco internetwork; IP routing, switching, wireless technologies; basic wireless and network security; and connecting to a WAN. Labs provide hands-on learning and reinforce skills. ICND1 prepares students to take the Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Network Technician) certification exam.
