January Newsmaker Breakfast
The January Newsmaker Breakfast will focus on federal tax reform, recent efforts made in Washington to reform the U.S. tax code, and include a discussion with leading experts on several related topics:
-What are the overall potential impacts of federal tax reform on Utah?
-What will the effects be on the Utah economy?
-How will changes in federal tax policy impact state and local revenue forecasts?
State tax experts and economists will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the consensus revenue forecast for the State of Utah. Juliette Tennert, director of economic and public policy research at the Gardner Policy Institute, will provide additional data and analysis.
