According to Forbes “The federal government has a statutory goal of awarding 5% of eligible prime contracting dollars to women-owned small businesses”.
What does this mean? It means certified woman-owned businesses have the advantage of doing business with the government and large corporations who are the largest buyers of goods and services!
Join Deb Bilbao who will take you through the core essentials you’ll need to know before delving into government contracting.
This workshop will help you determine whether you qualify for government contracting, understand the benefits of becoming certified and gain valuable insight into the process. You will leave the workshop with crucial resources that will assist you in successfully navigating your way through government contracting.
Parking Instructions:
We encourage you to take Trax and help keep our air clean. Please use the Library Square stop on the red line to arrive at the Salt Lake Chamber offices.
If you are driving, park in the west side of the parking lot on the corner with 400 South and State Street. Enter our surface lot heading west on 400 S. When you arrive, proceed to the left/west (monthly and validated parking) area and take a ticket and pass through the yellow parking gate. We will provide validations upstairs at the front desk for this parking lot only.
Do not enter on the right/east side and park in the two rows closest to the building or you will have to pay in advance and we will not be able to validate your parking.
Please note that we are not able to guarantee parking for everyone in our lot.
If you are unable to find parking in our lot you can use the flowing link to find more parking options to park downtown: http://www.parkingslc.com/maps-and-apps/parking-finder-map
