The Payroll Protection Plan was created by the new CARES Act signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020.
This program allows any small business under 500 employees to borrow up to 2.5 times their average monthly payroll costs via a government backed loan.
This loan will be forgiven if used to for payroll, rent, utilities, or mortgage interest between April 15th and June 30th.
