VIRTUAL POWER OF YOUR PURSE
Join us this fall for a free, virtual Power of Your Purse Gala! 

The health and safety of our community is United Way of Salt Lake’s top priority. Due to the ongoing developments with COVID-19 (Coronavirus), the 2020 Power of Your Purse fundraising gala will be held exclusively online.  

What will a virtual gala look like? 
This year, the silent auction will be held from September 21-25. Registrants can bid on exciting items through our online auction app, Handbid, and receive exclusive content throughout the week.  
Safety permitting, on Thursday, September 24, small receptions will be held at various locations, hosted by Women United members and United Way of Salt Lake. Join us for cocktails and to hear from keynote speaker Julissa Arce via live stream.  

Celebrate and support the educational achievement of girls and women in our community and learn how you can help empower the next generation of women leaders.
You can help ensure Utah women and girls have the opportunities and the tools to pursue their educational dreams regardless of race, income, or ZIP code. Proceeds from Power of Your Purse support:

• High school mentoring and tutoring 
• Scholarships for first-generation high school graduates
• STEM learning opportunities in Title 1 schools 
• Be inspired by stories of young women in our community who are overcoming incredible odds to achieve success in school and in life.
