About Our Speaker: Mike Brian

Mike Brian is the CEO of Penna Powers, a 35+ year professional communication agency headquartered in Utah. Mike’s background comes from institutional training and pioneering the digital era of marketing and advertising. He established one of the first digital multimedia production companies in Utah and merged with Penna Powers in 2002 following a successful partnership during the 2002 Olympic Games.
Though his day-to-day comedic antics at the office have many wondering how any real work gets done, he has successfully found the time to take many of the agency’s clients into new territories in creative execution, strategic direction and profitability. Leveraging his natural “storytelling” talent, he helps agency customers connect with their clients on a very personal level. Mike is a member of the National Speakers Association and currently serves on the board of the NSA MountainWest chapter. He delivered a TEDx talk in 2020 featuring his Story Cadence System. He also serves on the MountainWest Board of the MS Society working with other professionals to find a cure for MS.
Mike has over 30 years of industry experience both as an entrepreneur and a marketing professional. As a graduate of Weber State University in Marketing with an emphasis in Advertising and a minor in Finance, and with his deep experience in digital marketing, professional development and leadership he brings a unique flavor to every effort he is involved with.
