Presentation Skills Bootcamp with Beth Noymer Levine

In this bootcamp, participants will learn to break down “the parts of a speech” – all the necessary elements to grab/hold an audience’s attention, make a concise point, tell a succinct story and be memorable/impressive – and then put them back together in a simple framework that follows SmartMouth’s proprietary communication hierarchy. The net result for participants is improved communications skills overall, as well as the ability to deliver an effective presentation in any setting. This workshop is highly interactive with participants having opportunities to “test drive” new concepts and practice delivery.

Outcomes:

▪ participants will have a better sense for how to organize their thoughts and shape their communications in a way that connects and achieves results;
▪ participants will learn delivery strategies that will make them more effective with audiences, both live and virtual;
▪ participants will be given “permission” to be themselves, to be authentic in their content and delivery while demonstrating command and confidence;
▪ participants will be encouraged/driven toward communicating value and achieving their desired outcome;
▪ participants will have a more engaging way to introduce themselves and talk about their work.

One-on-One Coaching / Video Feedback
Nothing moves the needle on performance quite like individual feedback, especially when it’s delivered discretely and can be saved for future reference. The combination of the Chamber’s on-site studio facility and SmartMouth’s video feedback platform (via GoReact.com) allows us to offer virtual one-on-one coaching to each participant who signs up in advance and brings their own flash drive. Each participant’s video and feedback are saved and accessible on GoReact.com for five years.
Time: Up to 15 minutes of recorded video per person Fee: $75 (member) or $99 (non-member) per person. (Must register for and attend Bootcamp 1 on Sept 6 to participate in Video Session.)
