Come for a half day of social media training, networking and an introduction to the Home Shopping industry. 

Speed mentoring throughout the event as well as exhibit tables with valuable business resources and information. 

9:00 - Learn about using Social Media to grow your business. Our presenter will cover the main networks as well as talk about creating a social media marketing strategy and content calendar along with some useful social media tools. 

10:00 - You're Social, Now What? You’ve thought about what social networks to use for your organization, and you’re ready to take the next step. Where do you go from there? 
This seminar will give you a closer look at the popular social media networks – 
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google+. See the benefits of using each, how other organizations are marketing with them, and some do's and dont's of each channel. You’ll also get tips on how to tell if your social media activity is working. We'll talk about finding content, and some tools for making your own images and videos.

11:00 - Intro to the Home Shopping Industry. If you have a consumer product or an idea for a consumer product, learn the simple steps to getting it on TV in front of 96 million households (at no cost to you!). This will help you prepare for a personal screening in Salt Lake City with a TV Producer. 

 Event is held in conjunction with the Miller Business Resource Center. 

While this is a free event, a $10 donation is recommended and appreciated.
