SLC International Airport Art Open House

Have you been missing the local artwork displayed at the former Salt Lake City International Airport? Join us for a special viewing of those pieces at an Art Open House at The New SLC Airport office. You’ll have an opportunity to stroll the hallways and see art by acclaimed Utah artists such as David Adams, Marianne Cone, Susan Gallacher, Anton Rasmussen, LeConte Stewart and Trevor Southey. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Gordon Huether, the artist for The New SLC’s large-scale art installations—The Falls and The Canyon. Browsing will take place from 2 p.m. through 5 p.m. at the SLC Dept. of Airport’s Office on the 3rd floor of the Terminal. Unveiling of a new art installation honoring former astronaut and U.S. Senator Jake Garn is planned at 2:30 p.m. in the Greeting Room, 2nd floor. Please park in the garage. Validations to be provided.
