Join Utah Foundation for a policy discussion about the future landscape of transportation. How is technology changing the way people will get from point A to B in Utah? How should policymakers respond?
Our speakers include:
- David Christensen, Executive Director of USU’s Sustainable Electrified Transportation Research Center, which has created an advanced EV charging project and is developing innovative technologies with its partner universities across the U.S.
- Teri Newell, Deputy Director at UDOT, who will talk about advances in technology, the evolution of the transportation industry and transportation reinvestment zones.
- Jaron Robertson, UTA’s Program Manager of Innovative Mobility Solutions, which serves as a testing ground for new transit and transportation ideas.
- Representative Robert Spendlove, who has sponsored legislation to make Utah the first state to fully legalize self-driving cars on its roads.
The event will conclude with a Live Electric EV ride-and-drive event. Stick around after the breakfast and get behind the wheel of an electric car.
Our thanks to the Larry Miller Automotive Group for its generous sponsorship of this event.
Thanks also to Salt Lake County for hosting.
