KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Becky Pickle, CEO

Becky Pickle, newly appointed CEO of The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation, lives her personal and professional life at the intersection of conscious compassion, transformative entrepreneurship, and empowering philanthropy. A proud Utah native and devoted mother of three adult children, Becky's nurturing spirit extends beyond her nuclear family through her experiences as a foster and adoptive parent.
As founder of the Becky Pickle Family Foundation, Becky spearheads initiatives aimed at uplifting communities. Her impact resonates deeply across Utah, focusing on homelessness alleviation, suicide prevention, and college scholarships for students in need. A relentless policy advocate, Becky has collaborated with elected officials for over 15 years to establish crucial policies addressing homelessness, affordable housing, mental health access, suicide prevention, affordable childcare, and support for first responders.
Becky's two-decade entrepreneurial career includes owning and operating a multi-unit restaurant franchise that engaged in transformative philanthropy. Under her leadership, the business gave out over $500,000 in college scholarships, donated more than $3 million in dollars and food to Utah schools, and provided over 40,000 meals to individuals experiencing homelessness. Her expertise extends into business consulting, where she guides C-suite leaders and organizations nationwide as an executive coach and mentor, impacting hundreds of organizational leaders.
Recognized for her contributions, Becky has received numerous awards, including:
  • Utah's 40 over 40 in 2022
  • Business Woman of the Year by both the South Jordan Chamber of Commerce and South Valley Chamber of Commerce
  • Business of the Year and South Jordan Community Champion of the Year
Becky actively serves on several boards and commissions, including:
  • Board of Directors for LOVELOUD and Encircle
  • ULEAD steering commission
  • SafeUT Frontline Commission
  • Past President of the Board of Trustees for The Road Home
Beyond her professional endeavors, Becky is an enthusiastic gardener, avid hiker, world traveler, and passionate fan of live music performances. As the new CEO of The Huntsman Mental Health Foundation, Becky brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and servant leadership to further the organization's mission.

SESSION PRESENTERS:
Lennie Knowlton, CMHC, CDWF is Founder and Executive Director of Project Connection. Lennie is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with 15 years of experience working with trauma, anxiety and relationship issues in the community. She has a strong belief that people do better when they are connected in meaningful ways and founded Project Connection with the commitment to providing evidence-based mental health care while providing the connection and community required to achieve optimum wellness.

Alyssa Mitchell is the Zero Suicide Program Manager for the Utah Department of Health and Human Services in the Office of Substance Use and Mental Health. Alyssa has worked in suicide prevention for 9 years. She is an experienced master trainer in evidence based programs Question. Persuade. Refer and Mental Health First Aid. In addition to this she is the co-chair for the Workplace Workgroup of the Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition. Alyssa has a Masters degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Promotion and Education.


Marissa Gray is the Senior Benefits Specialist at Big-D Construction, a rapidly growing national general contractor with about 1700 associates. She spearheads the development, implementation, administration and education of comprehensive benefit and wellness programs. Outside of her day job, she is an executive member of the Utah Suicide Prevention Committee and co-chair of the Utah Suicide Prevention Workplace Workgroup, whose mission is to promote quality of life and prevent suicide. Marissa contributes to a safer, healthier workforce, ensuring benefits and resources are accessible and stigma surrounding mental health is continuously challenged. She has received several awards for her efforts, including Platinum Mental Health America Bell Award, Utah Worksite Wellness Award, Compsych Award, and was also honored as Construction Champion Rising Star in 2024.
