WTC Utah Webinar Series: CARES Act Support for Mid-Sized Businesses - What You Need to Know and Q&A
Join World Trade Center Utah, in partnership with Varex Imaging and Dorsey & Whitney, for a webinar discussing how the CARES Act supports mid-sized businesses. Utah is home to a number of mid-sized businesses that have been impacted by the novel coronavirus. The recently enacted Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Security Act (The "CARES Act"), includes provisions aimed at supporting these mid-sized businesses. Among these provisions, the CARES Act directs the U.S. Treasury to make low-interest loans available to mid-sized businesses (businesses that employ between 500 and 10,000 employees). In this webinar update, we will cover:
- What the CARES Act offers for mid-sized businesses
- What is currently known about the mid-sized business loan program
- What is the status of the forthcoming Treasury guidelines and procedures for the program
- What issues mid-sized business should consider when deciding whether to participate in the program
