Business Women's Forum Steering Committee Application

Become a member of the Business Women’s Forum Steering Committee. Before you start your application, please see the requirements below:

- Must attend 50% of the BWF committee meetings that are held the first Tuesday of the month from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM via Zoom.

- Must attend 50% of the BWF luncheons. There are eight events each year and are usually on the third Tuesday of the month.

- Must help plan one BWF luncheon and write one BWF guest blog.

Overall, committee members are expected to uplift and support women, utilize their professional skills and talents to mentor peers and BWF attendees, and encourage and promote networking at the luncheons.

Applications are reviewed in December and July. If you have any questions about the committee or the application process, please email bwf@slchamber.com.

Example: Mike earned his bachelor’s in English from the University of Utah and his law degree from the Brigham Young University where he was a member of the Law Review. After law school he clerked for Chief Justice Brown at the Utah Supreme Court.
Example: In his free time he enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, and is a particularly avid basketball player. Mike and his wife coach youth baseball and soccer and volunteer their time to Ballet West and the Utah Arts Festival. They enjoy spending time with their two children and traveling whenever their busy schedule allows.
