Faeth Alder
United Way of Salt Lake
Business Development Director
As the Business Development Director for the United Way of Salt Lake, Faeth Alder is tasked with developing new business relationships that align with UWSL’s results focused work in schools and communities.  Faeth received her bachelor’s in Political Science from Lake Forest College.  In her free time, Faeth enjoys exploring the outdoor beauty of Utah with her husband, Scott, and two boys.  Days spent camping or skiing are the best days.  She is on the Board for the Rape Recovery Center and volunteers weekly with the Stash at East High School.
John Andrus
Operations Director
John Andrus is the Operations Director at my529. He is responsible for the day-to-day operations, including processing and workflow of submitted documents, online account establishment, and the call center.  John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in organizational communications from the University of Utah.  John enjoys cultural arts events throughout the Salt Lake Valley, especially theater and musical venues. With six children and three grandchildren, John loves supporting them in their various activities.
Jasen Asay

Public Relations Manager
As the Public Relations Manager at the Salt Lake City Department of Airports, Jasen Asay assists in development, execution and implementation of a full range of communication and marketing programs, including but not limited to: media response, publication production, social media/website, special events, and statistical development/research.  Jasen received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University in 2001, with a double-major in communication studying broadcasting and journalism. Prior to that he attended BYU-Idaho, where he received an associate degree. He and his wife have a 2-year-old daughter. Jasen is excited to continue teaching her how to properly kick a soccer ball, and is looking forward to snowboarding with her in the future.
Chris Badger

Chris Badger is a Partner of NOW CFO and is the outsourced Chief Financial Officer for multiple companies. Chris has extensive experience in strategic management, external financial reporting, support for Boards and investor relationships. Chris holds a BA in accounting with a minor in Military Science from the University of Utah and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Business. Chris is also a licensed Certified Public Accountant.  In addition to his accounting expertise Chris has experience in Human Resources, health insurance benefits, retirement plans including 401(k)s, Top Hat plans, ESOPs and Qualified and Non-Qualified Profit-Sharing Plans. Chris is a Utah native and resides in South Jordan Utah with his wife Christine. They have three children and two grand-children. Chris is active in volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of America, CTR Supports (Autism) and his church.

Matt Bloye is the Region Bank President for Wells Fargo. In that role, he supports the banking operations in Utah from Riverton to the Idaho border.  Matt earned his bachelor's in Business Administration from Chapman University in Orange, CA. Matt also holds his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.  Matt moved to Utah with his family in October of 2018. In his free time he enjoys sports and spending time with his family outdoors. A perfect day for Matt, is spending time on one of the many beautiful bodies of water here in Utah.

Lori Bodily is the Accounting Manager at the Salt Lake Chamber.  She obtained a degree in Business/Administration but loved the bookkeeping side of accounting. She definitely has a knack with numbers. Before she started working at the Chamber she worked in banking and took accounting classes that the Salt Lake Community College offered.  Her hobbies include horseback riding, trail rides are her favorite. She enjoys watching her two beautiful granddaughters grow up and learn to love and appreciate horses. She also enjoys camping, fishing and swimming. Summer is her favorite time of the year.
Steven Broadbent

Steven Broadbent is a controller for Clyde Companies Inc. His work is primarily focused on managing the accounting and financial reporting for Sunroc Building materials, a subsidiary of Clyde Companies Inc.  Steven earned his bachelor's and Master's degree from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in accounting and audit. He worked in public accounting for one of the big 4 accounting firms prior to entering the private industry as a controller.  Steven enjoys most types of outdoor activities and competitive sports; including recent involvement in trail and obstacle course racing. He enjoys camping, traveling, and generally spending time with his wife and two young children. He recently completed the build of his family's home in Orem, Utah and enjoys continuing home improvement projects as his schedule allows.

Ken Clark is a Senior Business Development Specialist for Rocky Mountain Power/PacifiCorp focused on evaluating and developing new utility scale electric generation resources.  He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and his MBA from Pennsylvania State University.  Ken and his wife Annette moved to Utah in 2011 and have 3 small children.

Kyrene Clarke

Kyrene Clarke is the Manager of Lending and Partner Relations at the UMLF. She manages the UMLF's microloan program and plays a key growth strategy role at the organization. She supports the Executive Director in maintaining relationships with banks, community partners and the SBA. Kyrene also assists with financial strategy, financial training, and marketing.  She earned her master's in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration from the University of Denver. She also holds her bachelors in Economics and International Studies with a minor in French from the University of Denver. Prior to working at the UMLF, Kyrene worked at Goldman Sachs in SLC, UT.  She lives life as an adventure and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, hiking, camping and kayaking. She appreciates live music, traveling, and most importantly-spending time with loved ones. Kyrene was part of the University of Denver's NCAA DI Swim Team and continues to swim today.

Laura Coppola is the Operations Manager for Zions Bancorporation. She oversees the consumer loan processing of customer loan requests for Zions Bancorporation, supporting their affiliate banks in Utah/Idaho, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, California and Colorado. She controls three team ,anagers and supervisors, with approximately 40 plus associates both on and offshore.  Laura graduated from Northglenn High School in Denver Colorado and received her Associates in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.  She enjoys camping, fishing, hiking and outdoors in general. She has a competitive nature and loves shooting pool and playing Texas Holdem. She enjoys games, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with my family and friends.

Director, Engineering and Gas Control
Lori W. Creer is director - Engineering and Gas Control – Western Operations, Gas Infrastructure Group. She is responsible for Dominion Energy Questar Pipeline’s reservoir, design, automation, corrosion and system engineering, pipeline compliance and integrity management. She also oversees gas control for both Dominion Energy Questar Pipeline and Dominion Energy Utah, Wyoming, Idaho to ensure that system integrity for pipeline, storage and distribution activities are maintained and that all gas transportation obligations are met in a safe and reliable manner. Creer joined Questar in 1989. She's served on the Women’s Network steering committee and Co-chair of the Questar United Way campaign.  Creer received her bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University.  In her free time she enjoys golfing, hiking around their second home in St. George, Utah and traveling with her husband.

Jennifer Crosby is a Senior Fraud Analyst for American Express and provides back-end case information related to financial crime investigations for prepaid products on behalf of American Express Global Security.  Jennifer Crosby earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of Utah.  As an avid animal lover, in her free time Jennifer has volunteered with animal shelters and other charitable organizations in the community.

Tanner Doss is the Corporate Investment Analyst for FJ Management. FJ Management, Inc. formerly known as Flying J Inc., is a Utah-based private holding company that manages a diverse portfolio of oil and travel-related assets under the company guiding principles of Integrity, Mutual Respect and Excellence.  Tanner earned his bachelor's degree in Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy where he was a member of the Football team. After graduating he served 5 years in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Captain In his free time, Tanner enjoys spending time outside whether he is fly fishing or mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Tanner and his wife moved to Utah from Texas and are enjoying introducing their two sons to the mountains and everything Utah has to offer.

Suzanne Gamvroulas

Suzanne Gamvroulas has been working in the community management industry for over seven years
and currently holds the position of Community Manager for the Daybreak Community Association.
Suzanne and her team of over 100 oversee the daily operations of a community of over 5,000 homes
with a planned build out of over 20,000 homes. Her work includes daily involvement with a multimillion
dollar budget and upholding community standards, but also strategic and forward planning
with the Daybreak Development team. Suzanne earned her Bachelors degree specializing in business and marketing. Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Suzanne spent 14 years working for advertising agencies in Toronto and Boston before moving to Salt Lake City and beginning her career in community management. In 2017 she became a US citizen and enjoys spending her free time skiing, hiking, cycling and travelling with her husband
Deon Glendhill
Service Manager
Deon Gledhill is the Service Manager for Alsco, a textile rental service. He oversees the Service department in Salt Lake and a depot in Provo, with a main focus of increasing sales, customer satisfaction and customer retention.  Deon has 30 years of street smarts, no book smarts.  Deon's hobbies include hiking, fishing, hunting and getting photos with celebrities. Deon and his wife have donated their time and money to the breast cancer foundation, after his mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer and later passed away from it. They also enjoy spending time with family and friends.

Lucas currently works in operations with the Salt Lake Chamber. In this role Lucas regularly collaborates with staff across the organization to ensure successful execution of operations and logistics strategies, comprehensive management solutions, strategic business development and the delivery of outstanding member solutions.  Lucas holds advanced degrees in music performance, pedagogy, and stage direction. As a singer, teacher and director, Lucas' career has taken him across much of the United States, Europe and South America.  Lucas proudly served on the faculty of the University of Utah, Southern Utah University, and the University of Colorado Boulder. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Randi and their two dogs.

Melanie is an attorney at Fabian VanCott. She focuses her practice on employment law, civil litigation, and school/special education law. Melanie represents a diverse set of clients throughout Utah and nationally. She is the chair of Fabian VanCott's Women's Group.  Melanie attended Vassar College where she received a B.A. in Anthropology and Hispanic Studies. After working for several years, Melanie received a J.D. from the College of Law at the University of Utah. She was president of the Natural Resources Law Forum and a member of the Utah Law Review.  Melanie moved to Utah because of the vibrant community and exceptional outdoor activities. She enjoys skiing, biking and hiking in Utah's mountains and red rock country. Melanie's husband is an educator and she has two energetic children.

She earned a Bachelor’s from Westminster College in Justice Studies. She earned a Masters in Public Administration and a Conflict Resolution Certificate from the University of Utah. Princess was co-diversity chair, a resident advisor, and awarded Justice Studies student of the year in 2010 at Westminster. In her free time Princess enjoys traveling, hiking, and learning new things, She has also enjoyed opening a coffee shop with her husband.

Laura Hanson is the Director of Planning at UTA, and oversees the Strategic Planning, Service Planning, and Customer Experience Divisions.  Laura holds Bachelor's degrees in Urban Planning and Environmental Studies, and a Master's in Urban Planning from the University of Utah.  In her free time, Laura loves to travel, snowboard, hike, mtn. bike, read, listen to live music, and spend time with her husband Derrek and two kids (6 and 11) at our cabin in the Uintas.

Tyler Hawkins is an attorney for Ballard Spahr LLP, a national law firm. His practice is focused on complex commercial litigation, including commercial contract and real estate disputes, bankruptcy, and corporate restructuring. He has litigated cases in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate level.  Tyler earned a bachelors in business administration from Washington State University. He earned his law degree from the University of Utah where he graduated with highest honors and was an editor of the Law Review. After law school, he clerked for Utah Supreme Court Justice Jill N. Parrish.  Tyler enjoys a variety of outdoor sports and activities. He is an avid cyclist and skier, and he enjoys golf. Tyler volunteers at the Homeless Youth Resource Center and helps individuals expunge criminal records so they can resume productive lives. He and his wife travel whenever their busy schedule allows.

His team is responsible for key business relationships with the company's largest customers as well as city and county elected leaders and staff.  George earned his bachelors in Organization Management from Idaho State University and his MBA from Utah State University. He currently sits on the College of Engineering Industrial Advisory Board at Utah State University.  In his free time George enjoys time with his family, travel, reading history and hiking. He is an avid Ohio State football fan and enjoys watching Cleveland Indian baseball and Cleveland Cavs basketball.

This education and experience is very useful in understanding and helping decipher complex requirements in Business Development and City government.  Craig and his wife Susan have been married for 32 years, they have three children and six grandkids, Craig loves the outdoors, enjoys boating, fishing, snowmobiling, coaching club and high school soccer, and working on home improvement projects.

The advancement of how and where we watch television have increased the capabilities to reach viewers with a relevant and compelling messaging anywhere.  Valerie earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah.  In her free time she enjoys skiing, playing golf and supporting the vibrant dance, art and music scene in Salt Lake City. She is also a "foodie" with a passion for cooking for family and friends. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her two teenagers.

Cassady Kristensen is an environmental engineer for Rio Tinto Kennecott. Her team is responsible for responsible for the management of environmental regulatory programs for the operational facilities. Cassady is also an appointed member of the Utah Air Quality Board.  Cassady earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Environmental Engineering at Utah State University.  Cassady spends a great deal of her free time at sporting events with her two kids, mostly hockey and soccer. She is also proud of her involvement in Angel’s Hands Foundation, a nonprofit supporting Utah children living with rare and undiagnosed medical conditions.

Dr. Charles Lepper as the Vice President for Student Affairs at Salt Lake Community College, which serves over 61,000 annually. Dr. Lepper is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the Division of Student Affairs which includes all student services and enrollment management functions at all campuses and sites.  Dr. Lepper earned a bachelor of arts degree in human resources management from Ball State University, a master of education degree from Grand Valley State University, and his doctorate of philosophy from Indiana State University.  He earned a certificate of completion from the Educational Management Institute at Harvard University.  Originally from Indiana, and relocated from Norfolk, Virginia in July 2015 to assume his role at Salt Lake Community College. She is responsible for managing the large corporate portfolio by advising clients on specific cash flow management strategies that include but are not limited to fraud protection, merchant services, corporate spending and electronic payment transactions.  Ashlii attended Salt Lake Community College from 2001-2004 and is currently enrolled to finish her Bachelors Degree in Business Management. She plans to immediately follow up her Bachelors by completing her MBA from the University of Utah.  She loves spending time with her husband of 15 years and 2 children ages 10 and 14. She grew up on both coasts and loves to travel to new places, trying new things and meeting new people.

Chiemi Maloy is an administrator at Visit Salt Lake, which means helping with a bit of everything, and keeping things running smoothly in the office. Her customer service background and extensive local knowledge make her an essential member of the team.  Chiemi attended the University of Utah with an interest in psychology and communications. She chose to work full time in hospitality when educational costs proved to be a barrier, and wishes to make higher education more accessible for all Utahns.  As a life-long local of Salt Lake, Chiemi attends as many summer festivals as she can; often volunteering at Pride, Arts Festival, and 9th and 9th Street Fair. She loves swimming, camping, and protesting human rights abuses. She is the black sheep of a family that loves her anyway.

Jake Maxwell is the Workforce Development Manager for Salt Lake City Department of Economic Development. As a resource to Salt Lake City businesses, Jake's role involves convening businesses and community partners to address large challenges, developing talent pipelines for entry level to professional level workforce, and ensuring Salt Lake City remains on the cutting edge of innovative pathways and Workforce development initiatives.  Jake started his studies as a Fine Arts major but completed his bachelor's degree in Psychology at Weber State University. Jake participated in multiple research projects at the University of Utah to prepare for a PhD program, but realized he did not want a career of research alone. Jake also enjoys bike riding, drawing, photography, and hopes to teach his daughter how to play a few musical instruments. Jake and his wife enjoy backpacking and traveling adventures and hope their new daughter will too.

Rani McBride is director of claims administration for WCF Insurance. She supports the vice president of claims administration by providing technical expertise to the claims department claims managers. Rani plays a key role in developing and maintaining department philosophies, strategic directions, standards, processes, and practices.  Rani earned her bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Utah. She has earned her Associate in Claims, and Associate in Management through The Institutes.  In her free time she enjoys road biking, and cross fit training. Rani also enjoys camping and hiking in the outdoors, and traveling with her family. She loves to make memories with her family and friends.

Kirk McMullin’s responsibilities are to create business models to capitalize on growth opportunities within and between DMC Business Units. He’ll drive initiatives that increase revenues, grow margins, profits, brand awareness, brand response, direct response, omni-channel marketing, revenue generation performance management, customer success, operation effectiveness and efficiency. Kirk earned his BS (Statistics) from Brigham Young University and a MBA from University of Phoenix. While earning his MBA, Kirk went to work for AT&T then Sprint for the next thirteen years, in various leadership roles. In Kirk’s free time he enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, and is a particularly avid extreme skier. Kirk and his boys seek out the steepest untracked powder that can be found on any given ski day, year round. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their four children and traveling whenever their busy schedules permit.

Brynn Mortensen works on the public policy team at the Salt Lake Chamber. Her primary responsibilities include the Housing Gap Coalition and the Cybersecurity Leadership Council.  Brynn received both her BS in Political Science and Technical Writing Certificate from Weber State University. She interned in Washington, D.C. for Senator Mike Lee and the Utah State Legislature for Representative Francis Gibson. Brynn is currently working on her Professional MBA through Utah State University's Huntsman School.  In her free time Brynn enjoys boating, especially wake surfing, with friends and family. Brynn was a collegiate dancer and still loves to take classes as often as possible. Despite having no ties to Seattle, she was raised a die-hard Seahawks fan and can be found wearing her Seahawks heels every game-day.

He focuses on providing lending and treasury management services to companies headquartered in Utah with revenues greater than $20 million.  Jared earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Brigham Young University and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Southern California.  Jared sits on the board of the YMCA of Northern Utah, coaches several youth basketball teams, and enjoys camping, hiking, and reading in his free time. He resides in Holladay, UT with his wife and seven children.

Lisa D. Olken is KUED’s Director of Content. She leads the editorial, creative, and strategic direction of locally‐produced broadcast content. Her commitment to journalism‐based storytelling is evident in her 30 Emmy awards, 15 national awards, and 2 international awards. Olken is launching KUED’s first weekly, magazine TV series called, This Is Utah. Her most recent film toured with the U.S. State Department’s American Film Showcase in central Asia.  She was the first graduate of the David Eccles School of Business Women’s Leadership Program and earned a University of Utah Continuing Education certificate in Leadership and Management. Olken graduated from Indiana University’s Media School and moved from Denver to Salt Lake City in 2016.  Lisa lives in Millcreek with her husband and two dogs and enjoys bringing her mid-century home back to the future.

Callista Pearson is the Marketing & Communications Manager for Salt Lake County Animal Services. She is the main Public Information Officer for the agency and oversees the operation of several programs: Development and Grants, Volunteer and Foster, Rescue, Humane Education, and Community Events.  Callista earned her B.A. with an emphasis in Broadcasting and Public Relations from Colorado Mesa University and received her Masters in Community Leadership from Westminster College.  Outside of work, Callista loves to travel in and out of the country with her husband, Jared, and son, Ridge. They spend a lot of time hiking and skiing throughout Utah. And due to popular demand by the dogs, Itchy and Linus, two walks a day around the neighborhood.
Stewart Peay

Stewart Peay is a partner in the Salt Lake City office of Snell & Wilmer. He focuses his practice on commercial litigation, including trade secret, contract, construction and toxic tort litigation. He works with a variety of clients including publicly traded entities that have been in existence for many years and start-ups that are bringing cutting edge technology to the market.  Stewart earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Brigham Young University and received his J.D. cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Brigham Young University.  Stewart served as a military intelligence officer in the Utah Army National Guard. His service included one year in Iraq where he was a deputy operations officer for the Iraq Survey Group form April 2003-April 2004. Stewart is very involved in politics and in 2017 ran for Jason Chaffetz's vacated seat. He coaches baseball and travels in his spare time with his wife and four children.

Gene Prisbrey is quarry manager for Mountain Valley Stone, Inc., an open pit mine located in Summit County. Gene manages sales, customer service, inventory control, and production. The quarry operates year-round producing hand-split flagstone, custom guillotine builders, tumbled material, and landscape boulders. Mountain Valley Stone was awarded "Sustainability Standard Certification" for their efforts in environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and economic prosperity.  Gene attended Utah Valley State College where he concentrated his studies in auto body mechanics. Gene and his wife, Amelia, enjoy being outdoors; especially spending time at Lake Powell with their children and grandchildren. Gene has also donated countless hours as a mentor in the Boy Scouts of America program.

Dr. Sara Reed serves as Associate Vice President of People and Workplace Culture at Salt Lake Community College, a faculty member at the University of the Pacific, and as a Lt Col in the United States Air Force Reserve. Sara has served in the Air Force for 17 years.Sara earned her bachelor's in Russian Area Studies at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, masters of science in management at Troy State University, masters of education in higher education leadership at California State University‐Sacramento, and doctorate in educational leadership and management at Drexel University.  Sara is a wife and mother of three daughters. She has a passion for leadership development and contributing to her community, especially in the areas of education and girls and women in leadership. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and creating memories with her family.

Joint Information Center Coordinator and Multicultural Outreach
Kenya Rene is in charge of connecting, training and informing our diverse communities in Salt Lake City regarding emergency preparedness. She is creating a system to inform them in the event of a mayor incident through the Joint Information Center and establishing protocols to communicate with critical infrastructure, private and public sector, to provide them with the relevant, accurate and timely information regarding a mayor incident.  She received her Bachelors in International Marketing from Mexico's University (U.R..) Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Utah and Master in Leadership and Communication from Westminster College.  She enjoyes singing, hiking, volunteering, and dancing. And loves to travel and talking with people. 
Robbi Richter

Ms. Robbi D. Richter is the Program Director for the Women’s Business Center Northern Utah Region. The Women’s Business Center believes any women can start and run a successful business with the right skills, resources, and support. We help women build confidence, create opportunities and experience success in business ownership.  Robbi graduated, with honors, from the University of Utah with a Master of Public Administration and an undergraduate in Interpersonal Communication. She was involved with the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society, Golden Key International Honour Society and the American Society of Public Administration student chapters.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and is an avid Utah football fan where she has been a season ticket holder for over twelve years. Come ran or come shine you can find her in the stands cheering on her Utes. She also enjoys traveling, exploring new places and volunteers her time out in the community.

Thomas Risse is the Chief Financial Officer for SelectHealth, Intermountain Healthcare's branded health plan.  SelectHealth serves approximately 900,000 people representing $4B in health care services.  Prior to working for Intermountain Healthcare, Thomas's career in Healthcare has included experience with Integrated Delivery Systems, Medical Groups, Health Plans, Hospitals, across multiple geographies, both in for profit and not-for-profit companies.

Thomas has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics as well as an MBA from USC.  He is a fellow in the Health Care Financial Management Association.  And holds an Executive Management certificate from Harvard University.  In his free time, he enjoys triathlon, travel, running and live theater.

Denis Smith is the Assistant Vice President and Corporate Controller of Intermountain Healthcare, a not-for-profit health system with 22 hospitals, 185 clinics, health insurance plans, and approximately 37,000 employees. He oversees the company’s accounting operations and internal control initiatives.  Denis graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master of Accountancy and is a Certified Public Accountant in Utah.  Denis enjoys playing basketball and tennis and attending musical theater performances. He lives in Draper, Utah with his wife Denise and two children.

Tim Stephens is a Development Manager with Hamilton Partners, a local real estate development and investment firm specializing in office, industrial and multi-family properties. His focus for Hamilton is sourcing, underwriting, and managing the development of new and existing investments.  Tim earned his bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of Sydney (Australia) and his master's degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University.  A recent transplant from New York City, Tim enjoys spending as much time as possible enjoying the outdoor lifestyle that Utah offer. Golf, mountain biking, and snowboarding take up as much of his free time as possible. All of which is done when he is not spending time with his wife and two young children.

Jill Sundstrom is the Chief Operating Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah (BBBSU). In this role she oversees the three mentoring programs BBBSU runs, as well as operations for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah - Donation Center.  Jill earned her Bachelor's of Science in Political Science with a minor in Sociology from the University of Utah and has a Masters in Public Administration, with an emphasis in Nonprofit Management also from the University of Utah.  Jill and her husband have twin girls, and love spending time with them, traveling, hiking, and exploring all that Utah has to offer.

Kelly Thomas is the Human Resources Manager for the Salt Lake Chamber. She began her HR career twenty years ago at a local community bank where she built the HR department from the ground up.  Later she moved on to a large global employer where she had responsibility for several states and nearly 750 employees.  Kelly joined the Salt Lake Chamber staff in April of 2016 and loves working for an organization that is such a benefit for the business community and the state.  In her free time she enjoys traveling with her husband, reading and gardening; but mostly she loves hanging out with her grandkids, kids and dogs (in that order).

Skylar Tolbert works for Ivory Homes as a Land Development and Acquisition Project Manager. His role is focused on land acquisition, contract negations, city entitlements, planning, and land development. He works very closely with many different municipalities along the Wasatch Front. His main area of focus is residential real estate.  Skylar earned his bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Utah. While attending school he was an intern for the President at Sinclair Oil Corporation and an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. Upon graduating from school he began work for Ivory Homes.  In his free time he enjoys all kinds of different activities in the outdoors. He loves to play and watch all sports. He helps coach his sons football team, and enjoys playing on a few different recreation sports when his schedule allows. He loves family vacations with his wife and two children, most especially Lake. Powell.

She utilizes her experience in promotions, advertising operations, team management, and sales in creating customized promotions and digital advertising strategies for Fortune 500 companies, advertising agencies, and direct clients. She is passionate about team culture in the workplace and volunteers her time working with management in creating positive ongoing team building events and programs.    Kayla loves spending time with her husband and family of 3 daughters (ages 36, 35, and 27), a son-in-law, and precious granddaughter.

He continued his education at the University of Utah, where he received his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture. Emir is a licensed architect and a member of the American Institute of Architects.  In his free time Emir enjoys an active lifestyle which includes skiing, working out, soccer and volleyball. In between his projects, Emir likes to travel and is a passionate Utes, Utah Jazz and Real Salt Lake fan.

Christina Walsh is the Teen and Adult Services Coordinator at the City Library. She leads the teams of librarians that plan and implement programs and events for people aged 13 and up.  Christina earned her bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Kansas and her Master’s in Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma.  In her spare time she enjoys hiking, camping, and riding her bike around town. She also enjoys baking bread, playing pub quiz, and spending time with friends and family.

Jon Williams

Jon Williams is the GREENbike Fleet Manager responsible for all of the equipment smking sure it is functional, safe, and fun to ride. He also oversees staff hiring, training, and management, monitoring repair needs and system health, inventory of hundreds of parts and tools, vehicle management and a number of other things within those tasks.  Jon graduated from Hunter High School in 2008. While in high school he also passed a home building course at GTI. During and after high school, he loved to work in the bicycle world and became a certified expert bicycle technician. While at GREENbike, Jon has received his certification as a station/kiosk technician and Utah Nonprofit Organizations credential in Leadership and Organizational culture.  Jons first and favorite hobby is playing with his 2 daughters Hadley and Sophie. He is an outdoorsman and enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, biking, boarding, and exploring.

Margie Woodruff is the executive director for the American Red Cross Greater Salt Lake Area. She strives to connect the Red Cross to people with the common bonds of humanity and compassion that unite us together, making the community better prepared for emergencies and ensuring that lifesaving blood is available.  Margie earned her bachelor's degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado and completed three years of a MA/PhD degree at University of Arizona. She has worked in nonprofit organizations her entire career.  Margie enjoys reading, the theater and spending time with her family.

Tang Yang is a principal at GSBS Architects and a LEED accredited architect who has managed major projects for both public and private industry. Tang has a special interest in technology and its role in architecture and design.  Tang is currently leading the design technology area of practice at GSBS Architects.  Tang graduated from the University of Utah in 2002 with a Master's Degree in Architecture, earning the Merit Award and Design Award for his Master’s project.  Tang completed an architecture internship in Boston MA, where he also worked for a few years prior to moving back to Utah.  Tang maintains a connection to the larger architectural community by being involved with the Utah chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He has served as a member of the AIA Utah board of directors and has also chaired the AIA Utah Public Relations Committee. In his free time Tang enjoys all types of outdoor activities but especially enjoys skiing.

As community affairs strategist for R&R Partners, Tiffeny manages the Salt Lake office's community, business and government relationships and outreach efforts. During her 11-year tenure at R&R, she has also managed statewide advertising campaigns for healthcare, nonprofit arts, political, social cause, and transportation clients.  Tiffeny earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication and business and a Master of Strategic Communications from Westminster College.  Tiffeny's bags are always half packed, ready for her next trip. When she's not traveling, she's seeking out new restaurants or practicing yoga (aka peacefully pondering where to eat after class).

Jackie Sexton is the vice president of programs and events and is responsible for events such as Giant In Our City, Classic Golf Tournament, Annual Meeting and Small Business Awards Luncheon, Utah Economic Review, Legislative Reception, and the Women & Business Conference. She also oversees the networking events such as Business After Hours, Leadership Utah, Leadership Utah Alumni and the Military Affairs Committee. Jackie has worked for the Chamber since 1998. She has also held positions in the Chamber's Women's Business Center and Marketing Department prior to joining and now leading the event staff. She attended Weber State University where she majored in business management and information technology and received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Phoenix. Jackie and her husband Rod have two daughters. Over the past few years she’s turned into an excellent chauffeur, a wickedly cool softball mom and a pitiful maid.
