As a Salt Lake Chamber employee, under the direction of the Women’s Business Center of Utah
(WBCUtah) State Director, the Program & Digital Media Coordinator helps accomplish the
center’s mission to help women build confidence, create opportunities, and experience success
in business ownership.
This full-time position manages and implements WBCUtah’s statewide social media presence,
digital communications, and online platforms while providing logistical, administrative, and
promotional support for virtual and in-person entrepreneurial training workshops and events
across Utah. Working under the guidance of the program managers, the coordinator handles
event logistics and assists with venue setup, check-in, and logistics, primarily for the 15
northern Utah counties, while offering secondary backup support for southern region
programming. Additionally, this role oversees website updates, email newsletters, and presents
WBCUtah’s monthly Marketing Playbook training webinar.
Key Responsibilities:
Program & Event Logistics Support
● In collaboration with program managers, create and execute a promotional strategy and
schedule to promote WBCUtah training and signature programs through email, social
media, collaborators/partners, and word-of-mouth (WOM), targeted to women and
socially and economically disadvantaged owners, with maximum reach to drive
engagement, registration, and attendance.
● Collaborate with the program managers to help establish sponsorship packages and
ensure sponsor benefits are fulfilled before events.
● Utilize WBCUtah-designed templates and drop-in training information and images to
create visuals and content for promotional strategies.
● With guidance from program managers, coordinate digital communication with client
registrants and participants of virtual and in-person training and multi-week signature
programs using Neoserra CRM.
● Provide hands-on logistics for virtual and on-site training—primarily serving the 15
northern Utah counties, with occasional support for southern region events as
needed—including early arrival for A/V testing, tabling setup, guest check-in, live
troubleshooting, venue cleanup, and capturing event footage for social media
promotion. (Requires occasional local travel and infrequent overnight stays for
regional events.)
● Provide wrap-up support for in-person and virtual training events by accurately marking
participant attendance metrics in Neoserra CRM and reporting engagement.
Social Media & Digital Marketing
● Maintain and monitor all WBCUtah social media accounts and channels (Facebook,
Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, TikTok), adapting strategies as platform trends evolve to
maximize reach and engagement.
● Create, schedule, and publish promotional content, reels, stories, and carousel posts
using approved image templates and social media calendars aligned with WBCUtah
brand guidelines.
● Capture photos, video, and client moments during live and virtual events to build an
authentic library of visual content for social posts, reels, and stories.
● Monitor and respond promptly to direct messages on Meta Business Suite (Facebook
and Instagram), LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and TikTok.
● Coordinate content with team members via the #socialmedia Slack channel while
keeping all intellectual property confidential.
● Provide monthly social media metrics (followers, reach, engagement) at Statewide
Team Meetings and prepare bi-monthly growth reports for WBCUtah Board of Directors
(Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov).
● Oversee Mailchimp email distribution lists (8K+ contacts), manage templates, nurture
sequences, and draft and distribute monthly newsletters (1st of the month), Mid-Month
Boost e-blasts (15th of the month), and targeted single-event bulk emails.
Website & Directory Management
● Maintain the WBCUtah.org website on Squarespace through regular content updates,
SEO optimization, and technical upkeep.
● Monitor website analytics and prepare bi-monthly reports for the State Director and
Board of Directors (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov).
Data Integrity & Operations
● Manage WBCUtah Google Workspace account setup (@wbcutah.com) for new team
members and assist with basic email/tech troubleshooting.
● Monitor and manage the main info@wbcutah.com inbox frequently, replying promptly,
forwarding messages appropriately, and assisting team members as needed.
Team & Organizational Support
● Help set and accomplish WBCUtah and Salt Lake Chamber strategic goals, priorities,
and deadlines.
● Participate in weekly Monday Morning Zoom meetings (Mon @ 10am), monthly
statewide team meetings (1st Mon), and Salt Lake Chamber All Staff meetings.
● Serve as staff support to the Salt Lake Chamber events team as needed, including
bi-monthly Business Women’s Forum luncheons, the annual Women & Business
Conference (Nov), and other Chamber events as needed.
Qualifications:

maintenance, and digital tools to engage target audiences.
● Strong Organizational & Time Management Skills: Able to prioritize logistical tasks,
juggle event setup timelines alongside content calendars, and work efficiently under
