Travis taught AP European History, AP Art History, Financial Literacy, and Student Body Leadership at Hillcrest High School in Midvale, Utah before coming over to Envision Utah in 2018. He also coached several sports and ran Hillcrest’s Link Crew program, preparing 9th graders for success in high school and beyond. Always a teacher, Travis led Envision Utah’s early learning work, partnering with major organizations to embed the latest brain-building science across Utah, and now leads the organization’s K–12 and higher education efforts to improve outcomes statewide.
Travis is an avid reader and Disney fan, and enjoys exercising, spending time in Utah’s backcountry, and enjoying good food with friends and family.
