Founded in 1960, the Humane Society of Utah is dedicated to eliminating pain and suffering in animals. Our mission is to keep pets and their families together while ensuring the best possible outcomes for each animal in our care. We offer various services, including affordable spay/neuter procedures, vaccinations, adoptions, training, and humane education programs, all supported by a strong volunteer and fundraising network.
As the state's largest private nonprofit animal shelter, we operate entirely on donations and do not receive state or federal funding. We welcome all companion animals we can care for and are committed to placing every healthy and treatable pet in a loving home. We will never euthanize a healthy, treatable animal for any reason.
