About Us

Founded in 1995, Sutherland Institute is a conservative, non-partisan 501(c)(3) think tank committed to defending each generations' New Birth of Freedom. Efforts include convening communities through civil dialogue, informing sound public policy and encouraging the engagement of informed citizens. The focus is on the founding virtues upon which this nation was built including family, free enterprise and local control.
