Business Women's Forum 2022: 09/20 Developing Resilience for Success
At the young age of five, Heidi Lund's life was turned upside down when her father passed away and her mother turned to drugs to cope. While the adversities continued, it wasn't until 2008 when she hit rock bottom that she decided to turn her life around. Join us for an inspirational luncheon as we hear Heidi's powerful story of overcoming adversity and utilizing resilience to achieve success in the workplace. NON-PROFIT SPOTLIGHT:

The Family Support Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit agency dedicated to strengthening families through providing education, resources, and support to alleviate stress and diffuse the possibility of domestic violence and abuse. Family Support Center began in 1977 through a collaboration between the Junior League of Salt Lake City and the Utah Association for Children's Therapy (U-ACT). The founding project was the Crisis Nursery located in Sugar House. It was established in response to a pressing need for short-term crisis and respite care for children at risk for abuse or neglect. Since 1977, the Nursery program has expanded to include 2 additional locations in Midvale and West Valley City. Over the years, the Family Support Center has carefully changed, added, and expanded programs to meet the dynamic needs of our community.
