About Us

''The Rescue Mission of Salt Lake, founded in 1972, is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation that provides free services to two population groups in Salt Lake City, namely, (1) the homeless and working poor with shelter, clothing, showers, hot meals, and food boxes, and (2) the addicted with a one year residential drug and alcohol recovery program utilizing a whole person approach. We are a grass roots non-denominational Christian organization with over 17,000 citizens supporting us, thereby avoiding utilization of any federal, state, county or city tax dollars.''
